“Evening Star”

The final shot of this group in South Wales show the famous 9F, Riddles 2-10-0 no.92220 “Evening Star” at Severn Tunnel Junction shed. She had been withdrawn at this point, in fact her working life ended in March 1965, after only 5 years! Presumably she was just been stored here, whilst waiting to go to Crewe for restoration.
Again I need help with the location with the shed, as my directory dosn't give any street names to give this northern lad a clue.

Hello Andy - I would say that you haven't done too badly with your marker. You are about 500 metres east of the location which I would put at 200 metres West of the road bridge in your location satalite view. Regards from Phil H. Oz.

Isn't it nice to see that it lived and is now pristine at the NRM, I've just been flicking between my picture posted, taken(a mere 45 years later!)a few months back and your original shot. Beautiful.
Cheers
