On a cold, still and frosty morning, 44871 and 45407 head the Winter Cumbrian Mountain Express past Greenholme on the ascent of Shap with a rather impressive exhaust trail, which has the added bonus of helping hide the overhead wires.
I was borrowing a friends camera today to test it out. It's actually a Canon 550D, but is imported from somewhere or other and comes up as a Kiss X4!

Bootiful, that's a wonderful picture that encapsulates the season and our County. Pretty good with a camera your not used too. It's hard not to get on with an EOS though. More please.

Camera a Japanese market model I believe, Rebel for American market (I have), EOS for UK.
Another well taken shot, even with an unfamilier camera
I hope the weather conditions will make the trip worthwhile for me to compete in 2 weeks time! Pete
Wonderful photo Ian! What else is there to say?
Thanks for the comments everyone. Fingers crossed for good weather over the next few weekends.
Your welcome, and I'll drink to the better weather!
