Hello Ant,
Nice photo, and you managed to hide the second tender!
Like I've said before, many times, I am a bit of a purist, and like to see something in original condition.
"Flying Scotsman" is all over the news at the moment, as she has been restored (again), just how much is left of the old loco? (A bit like Dell-Boys' mate Trigger used to say "Apart from two new heads and a new handle - it's the original broom!"). The "Flying Scotsman" looks OK in wartime livery, but to quote the TV reporter, "This is how she ran during the war" - NOT with that double chimney!
(I really must stop moaning!).
Regards,
Vaughan.
