As a taster for next weekend's 40th anniversary of the Llanberis lake Railway, a picture of one of the visitors attending. Chaloner was built in 1877 by De Winton of Carnarvon for £60 The firebox is tended by a sloping plate under the footplate with it and the ashpan large and round under the boiler. It also has a large Wooden brakeblock and four forward gears operated by the tall lever on the nearer side!
I'll have to wait for the weekend for further shots of the other visitors.

Hi Pete,
Nice loco. I've never seen it, but would like to. Post some photos of it in action.
Vaughan.
