There's a lot to be said about being in the right place at the right time, as we all know - or doing the best you can in the circumstances. This is one of those shots where the sun was out, for a change, but almost into the lens.
Blanche coping well with a peak season train.

Looks good to me! Nice one!
Thanks for that George. Because of the deep shadows at this time of the day, detail at the front of the loco has been lost, but I guess we shouldn't expect perfection every time.
Just enjoy the moment.
Enjoy the moment is my sentiment too. Perfection is an ambition that's rarely achieved. I guess that if you've made the best of what you've been dealt, it's as good as it gets!
