The view from the top (almost) of The Marquis Of Anglesey's Column(114 steps) of the infastructure of the Britannia Bridge which tends to dwarf the two locos
just coming onto the island. you can just see one of the lions , two of which are on either side and remain from the original tubular bridge, a section of which is on display on the mainland side

Dwarf isn't the word they look smaller than N gauge scale models, though the picture does show the magnitude of the engineering that is the Britannia bridge even before the road was put on top of the railway.
Pete - nice photos, your bridge photo is the first time I have seen a clear photo of just how the bridge has been adapted for road and rail post the fire in the old square tubes as I remember them. I do realise that the 'Gold Tops' are performing on 'foreign' rails but at least you have some steam to look at. Regards, Phil H. leura. Oz.
Hi - To add to my comment [3.38pm AEDT] All that steel work underneath hasn't really detracted from the original tubular bridge [Which really was a little ugly! ]. It is great that the old towers have been retained. Very interesting photo, Pete. Phil H.
