On a recent short break to the Lake District, We took the train along the coast line from Grange over Sands to Carlisle. After taking in the Cathedral and Museum, we headed back to the station only to find "Oliver Cromwell" standing at the head of the Cathedrals Express. For once I got a picture of her in sunshine!

Hi Vaughan.
A lovely picture of the much loved ‘Brit’ in the sunshine, made all the better for the unexpected suprise.

Hi Vaughan - What a beauty, Britannias had long gone before I admitted that they were a really handsome locomotive. 'Oliver Cromwell' looks great and with a perfect feather seems ready for the off. Phil H. Oz.
