Welsh names can be difficult for the English speakers.
This is how I say Glyndyfrdwy - Glin-dif-dri (short i as in 'it').
It won't be right, but we have to have a go!
Apologies to the true Welsh.
But I think 'f' in Welsh in pronounced as 'v'.
I knew I'd got it wrong!
How about - City of Truro in Wales.
Well City of Truro In Wales sounds OK to me I'm sure Pete will put is right hes been living up there long enough to give us the "speak it proper" way. Yes The single F is always a V the C is always hard never . two FF's are an F Two dd's are pronounced as a th I think thats quite enough for tonight!! I sure the web will have a site somewhere on how to pronounce all the place names.
Anyway The Picture is great I am coming to the conclusion that this photography lark is not easy. I look foward to seeing the City of Truro on the W S R next year perhaps?
Regards to all Ant
Oh Iv'e had to "give it a foive" Regards Ant
