Some gorgeous colours in this photo. Fantastic.
Hi Andy,
Not only gorgeous colours, but lovely light, as with most of this collection.
You do seem to get about a bit.
Regards,
Vaughan.
A lovely photograph
Hello Andrew, your Llangollen Railway series of posts are all great, real quallity! The Dee Valley is truly a lovely area.
Just one comment if I may, not about you photography but I do wish that the LR would pair that Collett 38xx with an appropriate tender. I saw a lot of these engines around Bristol and Wales but do not ever recall one paired with a high sided 4000 gallon Collett tender! It may have happened during the last years of their service in the 1960's. I feel very certain one didn't get attached to one and have the GWR spaced initials on the tendersides!
If it is only an expedient to get the loco on the road I can excuse them - I just hope she gets a proper tender ASAP. Regards, Phil H. Leura. Oz.
