Two for the price of one!
"King Edward 1" and "Oliver Cromwell" double head 'The Devonian' from Bristol to Plymouth. The train originated at Poole in Dorset. Here the train is seen just after passing Exeter (St. Davids) at Exminster.

Ah Vaughan I see you have ventured a bit further afield for this shot; and fine it is too.
I forgot all about the run which I am ashamed to admit. I still have yet to capture a good picture of our dear Oliver . It will have to be next year now I fear.
Regards to all Ant
Morning Ant,
I only ventured as far as Exeter because there was a G-Scale model railway exhibition going on down there, and a group of us just had to go!
Regards,
Vaughan.
Hi Vaughan.
What a great picture in the autumn light (and colours). There is a great deal of power in these two fine locos at the head of this train, as they appear to be making light work of it.
Regards Andy
