The ex Portmadog heads for C'fon .

After the token exchange at Rhyd Ddu (3.45pm) the train heads for Caernarfon. Taken from almost the same place as the last shot it was a bit windy so poor exhaust from the Chimney!

Pete, that's a great shot. I like the exhaust drifting around like that, it give one the atmosphere. Thank you for answering my request so promptly. I think your shots of the WHR are great - please post many more. I've followed the construction for several years using the late Ben Fisher's webpage. The way users have to register has now been changed so the captcha question is no longer necessary, plus there seemed to be comments getting past the question which should not, making it no good for it's job.
Well, I can put my socks back on again.
That's a good photo, Pete. I hope to re-visit the Welsh Highland again this year. So I will keep you posted.
