Fresh from the Paint Shop.

Straight out of the box this one, and the sun fairly glinting off the water tank, 0-6-0 Pannier tank number 5783, (and before you ask, Ant), she is carrying an 81E Didcot shed plate. She has just been through the Swindon Works for a wash and brush-up, and probably a short back and sides!
The photo was taken on my, infamous, Box Brownie in August 1957.
