And now! On the spur of the moment I decided to go to Doncaster Station this morning for "Oliver Cromwell" on the Christmas White Rose. My original idea was to recapture an A4 passing through 'Donny', ala my childhood. However the 'Streak' was replaced by the 'Brit'. Can't complain though. Had an enjoyable morning, and all for a £3.60 train fare! Over 60's have some advantages

Andy,
I caught Oliver at York - it only cost me £1.00 but it caught me out by unhitching from the front and shot off quickly north instead of backing out with the coaches and then detaching to turn round. I think a lot of other snappers were caught out as well.
Carlton.
